Good, but not even close to being in the same league as the first film.

The Matrix Reloaded is an above satisfactory sequel to one of the best science fiction films of all time. Although it is a bit more hard to follow it is still great entertainment and dynamite for people who want to find out what happens next.

Action, and in my opinion a worthy plot of being a good sequel to the first, the trilogy all round is respectable, but this seemed different and somehow... better.

August 28, 2011fb791220692The action scenes are all fun to watch, and Reloaded brings up some interesting points about power and control, but the dialogue is so ambiguous that pretty much everything anyone says comes off as either plain sci-fi gibberish, or philosophy disguised as sci-fi gibberish.

The Matrix Reloaded, I thought was a decent sequel, but it lacked the power of the first film. One of the reasons that I think it lacks is because the filmmakers had a daunting task of trying to deliver a film better or just as good as the original. In that respect, Reloaded is m... read more

Reload before the revolution begins.
Saw it again! A excellent sequel to a fantastic story. This film took it to a next level, and to me there was more action in this one than the first, it's actually my favorite one of the saga. The Wachowski brother's really outdid themselves.... read more -

Neo receives a message from The Oracle and goes in search of The Source to fulfil the prophecy and end the war with the machines. Reloaded was a massive anti-climax upon its release and it clearly suffers from being the bridge between the beginning and end of the story arc with l... read more

[Agents attack Neo]
Neo: Huh, upgrades.
Unlike most people, I actually loved this movie. It was maybe the best Matrix ever. Filled with loads of action, and great performances. It seems like they wanted to one-up the first film, and while this one doesn't quite match up with the... read more -

The Matrix came back with a whole lot more in its sequel. Everything I liked about the first film was taken and created into something even better. The poker face martial arts action is back, the awe inducing special effects even better, and all this flash again sustained by bril... read more

I liked this movie and can recommend it with a clear critical conscience, but it never moved me even half as much as Steven Spielberg's A.I. Full Review
A sadder, wiser, more grown-up movie than its predecessor. Full Review
In the face of almost unbearable expectations, the Wachowski brothers deliver a sequel that soars to places only hinted at in the original. Full Review
You don't have to buy into the geeky mythmaking in The Matrix Reloaded in order to enjoy its kinetic pleasures. Full Review
Early in the movie, Morpheus warns a new character that he's got to have faith. All things considered, The Matrix Reloaded justifies that faith. Full Review
In this first Matrix sequel, you'll see things you've never seen before on a movie screen, and that's all that matters.
No, it's not great. No, it's not a disaster.
Delivers, in spades, exactly what you should expect from a popcorn flick.
