A made for TV production, and it shows; the photography is very static and dreary by today's standards. It is bolstered however by a strong cast of British stalwarts.

I haven't seen this for so long-need to re-watch. FYI< this is the one with Richard Chamberlain and it says it's rated "R" but it's not. On my "In Another Century" list.

this was the version i saw in my history class. its a good movie, but i hated the ending when the guy is in prison, in his nice clothes, and has that nasty dirty mask on.

This is the movie that inspired Steve Harris to name his band 'Iron Maiden'. Any movie like that deserves and Oscar!

A very well made film,with great acting. Also,Dumas is a great writer,giving us a great story! You just cant screw up his work,not really.

This is an old favorite of mine, because Leo plays both parts (twin brothers) so well, you forget its the same person -awesome twist at the end
