This is a cute movie about a man who is being followed by himself as a kid. He learns what he needs to do to change the course of history. Good plot. Good cast.

Russ Duritz (Bruce Willis) is a successful, but not so happy image consultant. Something might change for him when his 8-year-old self visits himself. That means that Russ gets to see what he was like when he was 8, but what could this lead to?

By rights The Kid should be dreadful. Surprisingly enough, it often soars to heights of not bad. Full Review
Nothing is very believable in the film. Full Review
Never really sparks much insight beyond the implied simplistic homily: 'You're never too old to change.'
The Kid gets bogged down in its sentimental manipulations.
So eager to please it ends up falling all over itself, The Kid could have used the more evenhanded touch Wells displayed in directing Guinevere. Full Review
This movie doesn't just want to win your heart. It wants to beat the mortal stuffing out of it until it begs for mercy. If people cry at the end, it'll probably be from the pain of all that pummeling.
The characters don't act like real people. Full Review
