Again with the unnecessary sequels. THE KARATE KID: PART III is a terrible film with terrible acting, terrible directing, terribly-written screenplay...everything about it is just terrible. It was an inevitable, but nevertheless bad, threequel.

It's not as good as the first 2 but it still a very good movie, Daniel Larusso showing us once again that he can beat the odds with the help of Mr. Miyagi. A bad guy from KK1 attempts to gain revenge on Daniel and Miyagi, with the aid of an old army buddy.

In trying to recapture the feel of the first one they seem to have taken a step back.

The unevenness of The Karate Kid movies reaches its peak in The Karate Kid Part III... Full Review
It's difficult to believe that nearly every member of the primary artistic team from the first two features returned for the third Kid installment, and this was the cruel abomination that resulted. Full Review
A performance from Macchio so irritating that the goodwill left over from the The Karate Kid is gone in a finger-snap. Full Review
A bit of an improvement over the second installment, but so what?
From hero to punk in 2 hours.
This is one karate chop too many...master Morita and student Macchio should have stopped before overstaying their welcome in this tepid follow-up
The series finally runs out of steam
