This version of the jury-drama-thriller story is a marginal improvement, sparked by Alec Baldwin's succulenty hammy performance.

A good thriller as a young single mother finally gets to do Jurory duty. Something she has always been interested in. Only for it to cause trouble for her as local gangsters try to infuence her verdict.

A dammed if you do, dammed if you don't film. The storyline is good, in my opinion Alec Baldwin's best part

I thought this movie was a great thrill. Though I thought it was a little predictable at time because I've seen lots of similar movies before. Demi Moore plays the juror who also is a single mom and she gets threatened by a man who has connections to the case.

This movie hinges on the relationship between Demi Moore and her son, and the chemistry just is not there. If you are expecting A Few Good Men meets G.I. Jane, be prepared to lower your expectations to those of an okay thriller.
Critic Reviews
A tightly-wound thriller that succeeds to the degree it does because of Alec Baldwin's sinister performance, which somehow captures the pathos of his monstrous character.
Despite its big names and slick sheen, [the film] fails to make a convincing case. Full Review
Psycholgical thriller about a woman in jeopardy and a power hungry criminal. Full Review
