November 23, 2011The overall idea is interesting, and danny kaye is a very funny actor, but my interest wasn't held for the entire movie. Has some very funny and clever scenes, but unecessary and distracting dialogue at times. still a fairly good movie for a lazy day tho.

October 26, 2008a pretty amusing film. Danny Kaye's quirky antics are definitely the highlight. can't say the music did much for me, but the overall story was entertaining and the comedic timing was top-notch. not overly outstanding, but it's still an underrated classic.
