This comic adaptation of Richard Matheson's classic science-fiction novel (The Shrinking Man) is not a bad movie.

It was cute and silly. Most of it was dumb. But it was so dumb that it was funny.

More memories of watching HBO as a child. This film is fun even though the cheese factor is high. I wish they had it on DVD so I could own it but it seems to have not been released yet to DVD.

Not sure why anyone ever thought Lily Tomlin was funny. All she ever does is just run around and have a spaz attack.

Oh wow...what a blast from the past. I remember seeing this movie when I was a little kid and desperately wishing I could shrink too so I could wear my barbie clothes like Lily Tomlin's character did.

Galaxy Glue, Galaxy Glue. What would we do without Galaxy Glue? Galaxy Glue, Galaxy Glue, LIfe would go to pieces without Galaxy Glue.......It's for you! Love this movie. I can't believe I still remember that jingle! Even if you don't like it, your (small) kids will.

A great 1981 classic comedy film, starring Lily Tomlin as a woman who gets infected by chemicals that cause here to shrink and does get famous in the process. An entertaining film with great laughs.
Critic Reviews
What's really incredible is how far this film goes to avoid the ideas, feminist and otherwise, embedded in its premise. Full Review
The Incredible Shrinking Woman is not inane, is sometimes wickedly knowing, and is only periodically boring. Full Review
Excruciatingly bad Lily Tomlin comedy. Full Review
Good intentions and one's own goodwill are soon diminished as script and direction conspire to render a sitcom satire that's indistinguishable from its target. Full Review
