Has some funny moments, especially the rocking-boat dinner scene, but for a short black-and-white film, I thought it was a bit too long.

Charlie Chaplin directed and starred in this wonderful short film that is both funny and emotional. The story of Chaplin coming to America, making friends, and finding that America isn't as the easy success story it may have promised to be, but he still doesn't let it get him down.
