This adaptation of the story of the Hunchback of Notre Dame, is done in the Disney style, with songs and a good versus evil theme. If you've seen any of the classic film versions of this story, you'll feel that this one is watered down and stupid. It may be fun for kids, but it... read more

Surely one of Disney's ugliest and least imaginative efforts. Full Review
Disney has created a movie that, like Quasimodo himself, is half formed. Full Review
There is much to admire in Hunchback, not least the risk of doing such a downer of a story at all. Full Review
Gorgeous but dark -- not the usual Disney experience. Full Review
Adding to the film's split personality is Demi Moore.
Like another famous tale set in Paris, Disney's animated version of Victor Hugo's venerable The Hunchback of Notre Dame is the best of times and, if not really the worst of times, something uncomforta... Full Review
The Hunchback's message -- that beauty is only skin deep -- goes only so far. Full Review
By sticking faithfully to the broader themes of Hugo's story -- those of desolation and desire, of trust and betrayals thereof -- the creators have fashioned the most poignant and deeply moral story t... Full Review
This is the least-enjoyable animated feature to come from the studio since its 1989 rebirth. Full Review
