December 11, 2011fb653545547Yeah, it is by the numbers, but what do you expect from a direct to video sequel of a B-level Disney film? I feel like we've seen this particular story before (maybe in the first film), but nothing here is particularly bad. Some of the animation looks cheap-especially medium an... read more

Cute, but it seems most of the old charm is gone, replaced with more typical kiddy-style romance. Victor Hugo never meant for Quasimodo to have a girlfriend - that's what bugs me the most. I tried to watch it again to update my rating... I couldn't do it. After seeing the firs... read more

One of the worst animated Disney movies to date (not counting sequels), mostly due to the supporting casts storylines and grim setting of the movie.

This sequel comes up way short in comparison to the original--the music is actually kind of stupid (except the love song, that's pretty), and the story seems rushed--but I'm giving it 3 stars because Quasi gets the girl, Madellaine, and she's pretty cool.

Where do I begin? The animation makes me want to barf, the storyline is terrible and they butchered the characters of Esmeralda and Quasi. Avoid this one.

God I hate Disney for things like this. They can take things like this and put them in the vault in their asses.
Critic Reviews
...an enjoyable enough little adventure that doesn't require one to have seen the first film. Full Review
A chintzy direct-to-video sequel to a fairly lifeless adaptation.
This is just lazy writing. Even kids deserve better. Full Review
Devoid of any of the qualities that made the first film so special. Full Review
Bolstered by an astonishing voice cast (excepting Love Hewitt), an interesting racial tension, and a storyline that I haven't encountered since at least Pete's Dragon. Full Review
