The Hottie And The Nottie
Quite how Paris Hilton convinced someone to put her in a movie, we don?t know. A less painful experience than watching the spoilt heiress attempt to act might involve painting your face with fish paste then apple-bobbing in a piranha tank. Is it hot? It ... read more

Nowhere near as bad as expected. Paris, like every other movie I've ever seen her in, acts like she's posing in front of the mirror, but for a mindless comedy, this was not that bad at all and even quite sweet in a way.

[COLOR=DarkRed][FONT=Arial]Paris Hilton is certainly a polarizing figure. The hotel heiress and tabloid star inspires so much hatred from the public and yet others still fawn over her. She simult... read more -

There is basically no fun to be had in this shallow, predictable and dumb excuse for a teen comedy with everything from the dialogue to the acting to direction proving to be a chaotic mess.

Just plain awful, I could not watch the whole movie, thats how stupid and unfunny it really was. Paris Hilton again shows us just how talentless she really is, a big fat dud.

I actually truly enjoyed this film. Once Christine Lakin turned into the woman she was meant to be, I wanted to see her more. I'm really surprised she hasn't been in anything else. Paris Hilton wasn't bad in her part either. Even though she didn't really have to act, she still di... read more

Yes, I endured watching the whole thing!
Paris Hilton truly cannot act but sure she did look good in this. It's not as funny as I had already expected but I had a few laughs out of it. -

When your best known actress is Paris Hilton, a person who should NEVER have the mantra of actress to begin with, your movie is going to suck monkey testicles and not in a good way.
Critic Reviews
It looks like it was shot on middle school AV club equipment, and the jokes, aiming for gross-out value, are merely sad. Full Review
[The film] regularly grinds to a halt just so Putnam can capture Hilton running, sunning or simply posing -- usually in slow motion. Full Review
Hottie goes from insufferable to downright intolerable. While it pays lip service to inner beauty, the movie winds up as a feature-length advertisement for cosmetic surgery. Full Review
With all her wealth and meaningless celebritude, Hilton is incapable of doing the one thing most of us desperately wish she would do: Go away. Full Review
Custom designed for its smirking star (who is also an executive producer), this tasteless train wreck asks only that she preen and prance on cue.
This pea-brained vanity production does not have the energy to remember from one scene to the next what it is about or why it is on screen. It is attention-deficit film-making. Full Review
Hottie and the Nottie is ultimately best suited for the confines of late-night cable.
That generous half star rating I tacked onto to this comedy abomination is all for Paris Hilton. Come on, it takes guts (or gross dim-wittedness) to appear on screen again after House of Wax.
Heidi Ferrer's screenplay...succeeds at just one thing: trumpeting one of the most anti-feminist messages in recent film history. Full Review
