Tokyo Drift is the weakest in the series and wasn't very good. The story was weak and very boring, I never found myself getting interested in the characters or story. The cast wasn't great either, Lucas Black and Bow Wow and the rest cannot live up to the cast of the rest of th... read more

I thought this was the worst. Only the stunts might be entertaining to watch but the whole movie was crap. Vin Diesel was like a treat in the end. And Brian, please don't smile like that, you look gay.

Justin Lin drops the cars in Tokyo, and while it delivers in that aspect, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift doesn't get much help elsewhere.
The bulk of this film takes place in Tokyo and it's not until it gets there where it takes off. In other words, the first

June 9, 2011fb634552688Dissapointing...more pulp and sheer random racing than anything.

May 12, 2011fb100000145236770Definitely the "Halloween 3: Season of the Witch" installment of the "Furious" series. Other than 2 smaller parts to the movie(Vin Diesel at the end, and Han who is in the next two, I think) this has nothing to do with the other movies. Lucas Black acts just as wooden as Paul W... read more

Tokyo Drift is pretty much a remake of The Fast and the Furious with minor changes. And like most remakes, it isn't only inferior to the original, it pretty much sucks monkey balls.
Lucas Black plays Sean, an American sent to live with his father in Tokyo to escape a jail sentenc... read more -
April 30, 2011fb733768972This film, starring an entirely new cast, is actually very, very enjoyable fun; However, even though I am saying that, it is definitely the weakest in the franchise, not because the story sucks, but because the cast is all missing, and I feel that we really needed to see them in ... read more

A number of questions spring to mind when considering The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. Can the movies possibly get any faster or more furious? What exactly is the Tokyo Drift? And does Al Gore k...
Tokyo Drift is a subculture in search of a compelling story line, and Black's leaden performance makes you pine for the days of Paul Walker. Full Review
The whole thing is preposterous. The acting is so awful, some of the worst performances I've seen in a long, long time. Full Review
The problem with contemporary Hollywood isn't that so many of the movies it's churning out are based on formula; it's that so many directors take perfectly good formulas and wreck them with bad filmma... Full Review
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift is vile, moronic, sexist and possibly harmful to society. As vile, moronic, sexist and possibly harmful entertainments go, however, it is frequently a hoot. Full Review
It quickly tanks, thanks to a lead character with no goals, focus, appeal or intelligence and a lead actor who's just a little too convincing at playing a dunce. Full Review
OK, they squeezed one more lap out of this franchise. It's been a fun ride, but it's time to shut things down. If you get my drift.
Despite all the silliness the drift races are gripping, and director Justin Lin captures Tokyo's energy and glitter far better than Sofia Coppola. Full Review
This is an exceptionally stupid and irresponsible movie on some levels. But it does score points for style and exotic location. Full Review
