    Surprisingly muddled direction from Stanley Kramer. Great cast is just not utilized. Candice Bergen is sadly miscast, Gene Hackman overacts. Some good support though from Mickey Rooney and Richard Widmark. The film just jumps around too much. It lacks continuity and has way too m... read moreany boring scenes.

    One of several 70's conspiracy theory movies. Some slow moments with Candace Bergen. but an interesting performance with Mickey Rooney and a solid ending.
