The only thing that stands between Nasim and the deeply damaging personal disgrace of being unable to pay his wife's hospital bills is an insane bet. In addition to the shame of it, failure to pay the bill could result in his being jailed. Nasim is in despair over his prospects, and is thwarted in a suicide attempt by his son. When a gambler suggests that he could raise the funds by betting that he can ride his bicycle non-stop for seven days straight, Nasim has very little to lose, and gives it all he's got -- and then some. ~ Clarke Fountain, Rovi

Stunning in its simplicity and shattering all the way up to the conclusion, this film is in the same class as Vittorio De Sica's The Bicycle Thief, and Umberto D. The kind of film you don't see everyday,so unique and feeling so real, bold and beautiful!
