I have no idea where the 10million dollar budget went, but this cautionary tale of yuppies getting lost in the grand canyon is well done, but nothing revolutionary. The final act is probably the strongest, which is rare.

I have never heard of this movie, but wow was it good! It has a really shocking ending, too, which really makes or breaks a movie for me. I definitely recommend this.

Very suspenseful and believably told. The lead actors do a fine job. Realistic, good cinematography. It remained interested from start to finish,

Sarah Versus Wolves!! This is Open Water. Just replace the Ocean with the Grand Canyon, and Sharks with Wolves. The movie itself is mostly blah. Yvonne Strahovski, on the other hand, doesn't have a blah bone in her body. Other than mine.. zing!
God damn, that chick is hot.

Hint to newlyweds: Don't honeymoon in a primeval wilderness populated by diamondback rattlesnakes, aggressive wolves and alcoholic wilderness guides. Full Review
The Canyon is so singularly inept it gives you a whole new appreciation for the ept. Full Review
The Canyon could be named for the gaping expanse between its preposterously silly dialogue and sturdy, at times urgent direction. Full Review
Bad things happen to good people in this intermittently effective chiller.
Watch this... or a giant hole in the ground. Same difference. Full Review
Take Open Water, subtract the Caribbean, substitute the Grand Canyon, and you have The Canyon. Full Review
A taut, unpredictable and intense thriller. You'll never look at the Grand Canyon the same way again. Full Review
