A cheesy epic adventure movie, but it's somewhat fun. A pretty good movie, but it could have been better.

One of the best Sinbad films, this classic swashbuckler has some inventive Harryhausen effects, fun monsters and a great baddie in the form of Torin Thatcher. Great family fun.

A landmark in terms of visual effects - Harryhausen was a genius. This movie absolutely swept me away as a youngster.
Critic Reviews
Childhood memory stuff of the most compelling kind.
Classic Harryhausen. May not be heavy on plot, but who cares?
A reminder from Ray Harryhausen on how much better FX were before they went CG.
A grand, glorious outing, with effects-maestro Ray Harryhausen in terrific form.
