It inspired Frank Miller to write and draw "300". That's the only nice thing I can say about this long, dull, pretentious, plodding, and dated epic.

A more accurate account of the Battle of Thermopylae, but less stylish and violent than 300. I believe Miller said this movie was his primary inspiration for that story. If you're interested in Greek history this is worth watching.
