Ferrell films can vary from one end of the scale to the other, he can be funny and ingenious or a complete annoying twat, unfortunately many of his films do come under the 'annoying twat' label for me.
This is not funny, Ferrell's worst by far, it may be because car racing just ... read more -

Just saw this for the second time the other day. Liked it a lot more then the first time.
Best Scene:
When Ricky's finds that his groupie wife had left him for his best friend.
Memorable Quote:
"Shake and bake!"
Conclusion:
Dumb humor at its peak, if a mere gathering of every... read more -

It isn't consistent with its laughs like McKay's other movies; Anchorman and Step Brothers but it's a pretty good comedy flick with great performances from its star studded cast.

December 2, 2011fb729949618Gonna be honest (always am), I did not like this film upon first viewing. Maybe I had too high of an expectation, but I felt let down. The film wasn't smooth and stalled a little too much for my liking. However, the film has some great comedy and I have learned to like it after w... read more

Of all the films that Will Ferrell has made, Talladega Night is one of my personal favorites. I thought the film was very funny, and was a lot of fun. The film works well because there's a good cast starring opposite Ferrell. First off, I don't hate Farrell, I find him to be repe... read more

To me NASCAR is one of the most boring things to watch, but the movies on racing and NASCAR are awesome, and this movie is definitely no exception, in fact, I'd say its one of the funniest and best racing films of all time, and one of the funniest movies of Will Ferrel's carrier.... read more

Another hilarious comedy from Adam McKay that ranks right up there next to Anchorman, but not quite as good.

Talledaga nights is a party. Ricky Bobby (Will Ferell) grew up wanting to go fast, and soon he becomes the worlds most famous racecar driver. When a French gay racer named Jean Girard beats him, Ricky goes downhill and loses his wife, his best friend Cal (John C Reilly), and hi... read more

Quite funny and silly but I laughed. Some of the line are hilarious. Will Ferrell is nothing short of hilarious. Great film and a must see for people who haven't watched this!

'Talladega Nights': Deliciously Subversive Political Satire Full Review
One of the stupidest and one of the funniest movies in Will Ferrell's career. Full Review
Essentially a string of gags loosely looped together, a set of absurd situations for the actors to clown their way through, Talladega Nights is an affable entertainment, both a celebration and a satir... Full Review
Talladega Nights may be brash, unbridled, even unhinged, but its cornpone humor is rich in parody, and its craftsmanship is superb. Full Review
Though the movie about a moronic NASCAR racer overall is uneven and Ricky Bobby's saga lacks focus, the stupid-comical banter and the lampooning of this particular brand of car racing proves entertain... Full Review
Ferrell and his writing partner Adam McKay (who also directs, as he did Anchorman) are utterly without shame in their eagerness to recycle old ideas. This pair could make a blue box jealous. Full Review
Talladega Nights is very funny at times, even if the Ballad part mostly boils down to a series of comedy sketches connected by a recurring character.
The picture gets a bit long near the finish. But comedies live and die on the basis of their laugh quotient, and Talladega Nights gets its share. Full Review
The laughs come and go, but Ferrell makes NASCAR his bitch funny. Funnier. And more fun. And then the fun skids to a stop.
