Both are talented racers, but K.C. has a wilder and more reckless approach, while Trip follows a more cautious path. A more profound difference between them arises when K.C. is offered a lucrative deal to ride for a factory-sponsored team; he takes the deal, and leaves his brother behind to race on his own dime. However, when an accident takes Trip out of the running on the supercross circuit, he and K.C. set aside their differences as Trip helps coach his older brother so he can succeed in his drive to the championship. Made with the cooperation of a leading supercross race promoter, Supercross: The Movie also stars Sophia Bush and Cameron Richardson as the brothers' love interests, and Robert Carradine as a determined race coach. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

As a motocross/supercross fan & rider, I was really disappointed in this movie. Not even an hour into the movie, both brothers have girlfriends...really? There seemed to be more romance than racing in the entire movie. The supercross side to the movie wasn't a breath of fresh air... read more either. There was just something about it that seemed so wrong...maybe it was the fact that they put Channing Tatum and Aaron Carter on dirt bikes and called them "racers"...or it could be because they made a privateers' racing career look easy. Winning against professional factory riders? Really? Supercross the movie is a huge let down.

A movie that tries to be amazingly cool, but tries so hard that it fails!

Loud, dumb race movie, the two lead actors have an okay chemistry as brothers and are easy on the eye but that's all this has going for it.
  • July 29, 2006
Supercross' plot is shopworn despite the one or two cool stunts provided in the last fifteen minutes.

Really cool motorcycle movie. Loved it. I really don't like Channing Tatum in any movie. But yet the movie was awesome, and he was a person that you were supposed to hate. Loved that Mike Vogel was in it.

Steve Howey and Mike Vogel are super hot in this movie and my favorite actress Sophia Bush is in this. I loved this movie for the fact that I love motorcross! This was an awesome movie.

This movie wasn't terrible but it wasn't that good either. If you like motocross and mediocre acting then this is a movie for you.

This movie was pretty good if you like motocross or are into sports at all. I liked it because I am really into stuff like that!

Just watched it last night for the 1st time and I was actually impressed. I mean, it kept my interest and I actually learned a little about the sport. The actors are familiar which was a major plus.

Two brothers love to dirtbike. One brother makes it into the professional racing, but he ends up leaving his brother. When his brother has a dirtbiking accident, his brother fills into his place at the big race and he wins. This is a story about love, family, and making it big.

Like the drive-in classics of Roger Corman and Samuel Z. Arkoff, this develops the principal characters and conflicts with just enough depth and keeps the narrative moving at a brisk pace. Full Review

Director Steve Boyum, a former motocross driver, hacks his racing footage to incomprehensible pieces and, from the looks of the meager, jumpy narrative, did the same to the script. Full Review
