The best thing that can be said about the Minnesota- made comedy Sugar & Spice is that there's no reference to the fact that it was made in Minnesota. Full Review
Struggles with the existential challenge of individuating five (then six, then seven) perky white heterosexual girls wearing identical aquamarine miniskirts and halter tops. Full Review
Quite a smart little film with a surprising satirical edge. Full Review
Not in the same clever league as Bring It On.

There are mucho storytelling dodges and gaping plot holes that make Sugar barely watchable.
It means to be knowing and cynical but is just callow. Full Review
A frothy motion picture that offers moments of guilty pleasure but isn't good enough to earn a recommendation. Full Review
