After tackling schizophrenia, obesity, and the inner workings of the vascular system (as represented by an animated Chris Rock), Peter and Bobby Farrelly set their comedic sights on a set of conjoined... read more read more... twins in this broad comedy. Written and directed by the non-twin Farrellys, Stuck on You stars Greg Kinnear and Matt Damon as, respectively, Walt and Bob Tenor, brothers who are so close, they're quite literally joined at the hip. While life in their sleepy, welcoming Martha's Vineyard burgh is comfortable -- the Tenor brothers are the quickest short-order chefs in town, unstoppable hockey goalies, and the most unlikely pair of dinner-theater thespians -- Walt longs to make good on his lifelong dream of becoming a professional actor. The shy, reticent Bob acquiesces to his self-assured brother's wish to move to Hollywood, in part to meet his longtime Internet romantic interest, May (Wen Yann Shih). The twosome finds Tinseltown to be less accommodating than life back east, however, as Walt and Bob come up against flea-ridden apartments, surly bar patrons, and a paucity of roles for actors with an extraneous person attached to them. Things begin to look up when they run into Cher on a studio backlot: Eager to end her commitment to star in a cheesy detective show, she casts Walt as her co-star, hoping the program will fail. When her plan backfires, however, the brothers find themselves on the cusp of fame and fortune -- and consider undergoing the risky surgery that could separate them forever. ~ Michael Hastings, Rovi

Doesn't get the laughs of some other Farrelly Brothers movies, (Dumb and Dumber, There's Something About Mary and Kingpin still being their best), but Stuck on You displays a humanity and sensitivity that's absent from a lot of their films as they go somewhere where I've never se... read moreen another movie go: a story about conjoined twins. It's a decent skewering of skin-deep Hollywood, but ironically, it's one that never quite gets beneath the surface. The Cher bits were good, though - why did she take this role? - and this is one of my favourite Greg Kinnear performances... and if you know my reviews, you know the guy annoys the heck out of me, so that's saying a lot. A few great jokes and some funny cameos, but overall there's nothing too special here.

    Hilarious! A must see!

a massively funny, smart, and underrated comedy. in the vein of the comedies on the 90's, damon and kinnear played off of each other perfectly and the humor worked for me from start to finish.

Forgettable mediocrity almost saved by Damon and Kinnear's glee.

Not one of the Farrelly Brother's best movies, but it is undeniably funny. I loved that they casted two actors that aren't usually known for comedy, it really worked out too. The plot of the movie is priceless, but it actually managed to have a lot of heart felt moments. It's a g... read morereat light comedy that doesn't get old.

Forgettable, but occasionally hilarious comedy about conjoined twins. It's a pretty cut and dry comedy, but both Damon and Kinnear bring a lot of enthusiasm to their characters. Watchable, but certainly missable.

This film really isn't all that bad. It's certainly not as tasteless as I thought it would be! The comedy element is somewhat lacking but as a nice feel good film it?s OK! Seymour Cassel is brilliant, Cher and Streep are good sports and even the Frankie Muniz cameo raised a wry s... read moremile. I still don't understand why Griffin Dunne isn't a more successful actor (directing aside).

A one-joke affair about conjoined twins that feels like it bypassed the scripting stage and was filmed directly from the pitch, the comedy remains resoundingly unfunny despite the strained efforts of ... Full Review

By the Farrellys' standards, Stuck on You is pretty tame, keeping the gutter humor to a minimum.

A strangely lackluster, flaccid string of fitfully humorous episodes.

Not only is Stuck on You a hoot, but it also walks a line -- as the best Farrelly brothers movies do -- between silly farce and sweet sentimentality that artfully avoids the cloying or maudlin. Full Review
