"Who's the best cop now?"
When a film's director is named Rowdy Herrington, a name that reminds me of a bad SNL character, the film's gotta be... something something.
Herrington has faded from the biz and Willis had his disappointments of his career at the time of this movie. W... read more -

A very good action thriller as a cop thinks another cop might be a serial killer. Plenty of good action scenes, and twists guessing the killer. A very strong cast line up as well. If you've not seen this it's worth checking out!

One of those dumb potboiler thrillers that gets a ridiculous amount of play on TNT because it's cheap and yet has recognizable faces.

Bruce Willis as cop on boat /love interest/killer with a grudge blah blah blah.

Cool thriller where Bruce Willis goes on water in his cop investigate for a serial killer and I like his attitude.

December 13, 2009sayers1977A film from a low period in Willis' career, this really is a load of old tosh. One to watch (in a double bi... read more

December 11, 2011fb1414891016Bruce Willis movies are a guilty pleasure of mine. But prejudice aside and being objective, this movie fell pretty flat on it's face. It had a great cast, but it just couldn't sort itself out. Not a bad summer-couch-2am movie, however.
Critic Reviews
A troubled production (reshoots, release-date postponements) that turned out to be surprisingly watchable.
One of Bruce Willis' most disposable and formulaic action potboilers. I'm a big fan of the Willis, and even I have no patience for "Striking Distance."
A mess, although the stars do what they can with the scattershot screenplay
Not one of Willis' best efforts; very formulaic and uninteresting.
Fails to deliver anything remotely original. Full Review
