Six months after one of the worst natural disaster in U.S. history, crime and corruption sink to new levels of depravity as a pair of New Orleans cops work to clean up the streets. New Orleans has bee... read more read more...n ravaged by Hurricane Katrina, opening the floodgates for a sea of criminals seeking to assert their control over the city's seedy underworld. But when the stakes are this high, there's sure to be corruption within the ranks of the local police force, too. When a veteran detective with a violent history (Val Kilmer) is assigned a new partner with a dark secret (Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson), the perceptive police psychiatrist (Sharon Stone) suspects that the officers may have become morally compromised by the chaos that threatens to consume the city that's already synonymous with vice and decadence. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Utter crap except for a few shocker moments set in gang/whore hangouts.

Captured me and had me sit until it was OVER! Guessing consistently as of who was the SNITCH! I loved this! Bet you will never guess..who it is until the very end of this intense police vs. crime saga in Louisiana. Val Kilmer is in full form...Sharon Stone is back...even 50Cent h... read moread a good part in this! I was surely surprised! Try it!

A horrible joke of a movie. The acting was atrocious as were the southern accents, the music, and the cinematography. Do not see this.

It was a decent movie. 50 Cent wasn't as bad as I thought he'd be. Some of the acting was pretty bad, but it was ok otherwise.

OK movie. Streets of Blood's plot never really goes anywhere, or does anything unexpected. It always seemed like a Michael Mann rip off, and never really took advantage of it's decent story. But the acting pedigree of Kilmer and Stone made it always watchable, with a few nice gun... read more fights thrown in.

I had to skip through at least 3 entire chapters of this piece of sh*t when it for no apparent reason turned to straight up, in your face pornography. I was going to stop it and take it out half way through because it was so terrible, but was persuaded not to, and was sorry for i... read moret later. There's no dialogue. It's just profanity mixed with a couple other words on rare occasions. The camera work completely sucks, as you find out within the first few minutes when it zooms up super close on the bloated face of a dead cop and STAYS there for way too long. I hate this thing. I wish I'd never had the misfortune of seeing any part of it.

A surprisingly watchable bad cop vs worse cop thriller set in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, six months after it hit New Orleans.

Drug gangs, cops on the take, loads of posturing, it's paint by number police procedural from the word go, but I still found it somewhat intrigu... read moreing, so perhaps that's enough to call it worth checking out.

This movie probably could have been a lot better. But as it is, it seems like a cable TV production (I know there?s some great stuff on cable, but I mean production value) where someone took a script, tried to make it a broadcast TV thing, then decided to just add sex and violenc... read moree and make it over the top. It?s a great concept, but misses. And it is very close to laughable in its miss.

So, of course, I watched this because of Michael Biehn, but it helped that Val Kilmer was in it. Biehn is wasted in a plastic role. Kilmer gets to display his chops. People might think 50 was good, but he is too reserved and doesn?t display much range or fervor in his lines. And what the hell is Sharon Stone doing in the movie. I didn?t mind the accent, as it was with Leo in the Blood Diamond, but it is a weird role for her to be in.

Thought it would be better considering the cast included Val Kilmer and Sharon Stone...but it wasn't.

Very ordinary crime thriller, yet another movie about crooked cops. The cast is competent, but they pretty much sleepwalk through their roles. It's not very convincing and I didn't buy the basic story. Bland.

A kindergarten cop thriller encrusted with insufferable New Orleans location accents, Blood proves that it wasn't the script that convinced Kilmer to accept this role, but likely the Creole catering. Full Review
