Street Dance is a Decent British Indie flick that basically shocked everyone with it's worthwhile storyline and interesting loveable characters. The Acting is very poor but it's hard to find a decent British actor who can also dance like the actors do in this movie. Street Dance ... read moreoverall is a good indie summer flick.

A great dance film and even though the first part of the film was awful because of the acting it all came together at the end.

Ok, this is not an original idea for a storyline, in fact it?s been done before in the 80?s film ?Breakdance? and in the 90?s?? Film ?Save the last dance?, but two differences here. Firstly it?s in 3D which definitely adds a little visual impact to the dance moves and allows you... read more to see dancing on screen, in a way never before, secondly it is a British film, funded by The National Lottery and gives a different angle to in comparison to the usual American made dance films.

For fans of the Dance Groups that have appeared on Britain?s Got Talent, Diversity, Flawless and George Sampson this will appeal to you although they are not the main focus of the film. Nicola Burley was a good surprise, she danced well and was a good character throughout.

Predictable but enjoyable. But it?s definitely one to be seen in 3D.

Let's face it. This is a dance movie and that is what you should get ready for. Why did I watch this then? For starters, I gotta say that my dancing skills can be compared to a fallen, rotten tree trapped in cement. I can't dance. Period. I went to see this movie with low expecta... read moretions and when the end credits started to roll, I realized that I had seen an energetic movie full of excellently choreographed dances.

'Streetdance' is nothing but a movie about dancing, especially streetdance. Old-fashioned ballet is the other genre but in this movie, ballet is shown as a gloomy, serious genre whilst streetdance is energetic, unorthodox and angry.

This movie lasts for approx 100 minutes so without a basic plot this would be nothing. There's an ordinary, predictable love story but it feels as if it's only forced to the movie. There's basically nothing dramatic about the movie. Gladly, there are some occasional humorous scenes that will put smiles on the faces.

The acting is mediocre at best but if I've understod correctly, the lead performers are mostly members of two dance crew's called Flawless and Diversity. Charlotte Rampling was the only actress that I knew by name and face. How did she get in to the movie, I do not know.

'Streetdance' is for those who love dancing, especially modern dance seen on clubs and on the streets. I'll admit that I enjoyed the movie because of its spectacular dance scenes. And saw it as a 3D version and gotta say that it looked amazing. The detail, the depth and especially the brightness of the picture were probably the best I've seen in 3D. Enjoy and let the rhythm flow!

This was my first 3D dance movie and what a difference it made... despite the weak acting performances even from the stars like Charlotte Rampling (all I can remember from hers were the high heels she was wearing), the movie deserve a nice red tomato for its dancing routines and ... read moreamazing music! Max Giwa and Dania Pasquini delivered the "goods" at the end and I have to say I loved it!

This film is worth watching for only 2 reasons the dance routines and the soundtrack. Save yourself some pain and fast forward the story & dialogue to the dance scenes.
The story is the tired formula of uncool kids with uncool dancing background (ballet in is case) mix it with "d... read morea kids on da street" and make it work (yawns). Whilst this is going on you have the obligatory love triangle between the main character Carly, her boyfriend and token Posh kid ballet dancer. At the films conclusion did I really care anymore about this? No is the short answer and I think this was down to some very ordinary performances chiefly from Nichola Burley as Carly. She is terrible throughout and if ever there was a case of looking good alone isnt enough then this is it. When she is tasked with organising the group at no point was I ever convinced that she had the personality to take this on.
During one scene whilst busting some ballet during a challenge\dance off the DJ announced "I dont know what that move is, I think its a pirouette.......but its all good". Blatant style over unconvincing content, nuff said really.

Leave your brain at the cinema entrance, enjoy the dancing and the pretty people. If you do exactly that, this'll be fun. If not, it's more of a 1-star-movie. Saw this on a plane, perfect film for that occasion.

the first hour or so of the movie is quite boring.. it only becomes interesting once the "real" complication sets in abour half way through =]
