Rough animation makes this one pretty hard to watch.

this movie was a bigger dissapointment than its predecessor. only 3 traditional street fighter characters appear, and although it was 3 of the better characters, it was a single focussed film with a choppy and incoherent story. it was a prequel to the film that came before it, ... read moreand it actually made the story in the earlier film worse not better. i was dissapointed in these movies.

A worst 45 minutes anime movie because it only casts four street fighters in this prequel.
  • November 18, 2008
Take the most rehased and cliche one on one, good vs evil plot and slap the Street Fighter name on it.

    only good for SF fans
    by phat_tony_2003 (movies profile) Mar 7, 2007

I don't think anyone would enjoy this movie other than Street Fighter fans. Compared to the first SF animated movie (Street Fighter II), this movie isn't that great.

I liked the animation for the original Street Fighter II animated movie. The animation for SFA: Generations is horrible. The character's faces look like those of Beavis and Butthead or King of The Hill.

This movie is not as good as the first Street Fighter Alpha movie, and it definitely is not as good as the first Street Fighter II movie.

Street Fighter Alpha: Generations is way too short. It doesn't seem like much effort was put into making it.

This movie was just ok. It's very different from Street Fighter 2: The Animated Movie, Which had better fights.
