A pretty good made for tv King flick. It's one of the few that he wrote for the small screen that wasn't based on his books. It has great actors and the villain of the flick is one of his best. I recommend watching this during a snow storm for maximum effect.

Hell yeah! Awesome to watch in the middle of a rain storm. =)

Brilliant Stephen King's long horror-thriller storm film made in television and I like Tim Daly's character who has the greatest courage and fearless than the population of Little Fall. Colm Feore does a wonderful performance as the devil aka Angus Linoge. His flaw teeth shocked ... read moreme a bit at the first scene when he quietly growled.

Craig R. Baxley seems to have taken up the mantle previously held by Mick Garris -- that of lame-ass director for Stephen King TV adaptations.

Good horror film, Stephen King is the master.

Colm Feorce is super creepy here and is the number 1 reason to check this out.

Makes you think twice about the storms we have. Still love Stephen King!

An emotionally engaging suspense story from the mind of Stephen King. This would be a top five DVD for me, I've watched it several times and have always been entertained. Don't watch it expecting to be scared, because you won't be. This is the story of an isolated society falling... read more apart. It's a fascinating social commentary in that regard, something King excels at. The other reason to watch this movie is for the villain; Andre Linoge may be the most impressive screen villain I have ever seen and Colm Feore plays him perfectly. I highly recommend this.

In a move sure to end well, King skips writing a book and adapting it into a mediocre TV movie and just writes the mediocre TV movie script. Somehow it is still 4 hours long.

I love reading Stephen King books and am quite a fan, this is an awesome movie and not just King fans will like it

a little long but still very good

It sags in the middle under a lengthy running time, but the premise and execution are terrific... and unlike many King adaptations, it really sticks the dismount.
