Interesting concept for a horror film, Stigmata is quite underrated. Although definitely not perfect, the film manages to be good enough entertainment. The big problem with Stigmata is that it relies too much on its special effects to create its horror. Stigmata plays out like a ... read more

Stigmata is mediocre at best. The overall pace and style are a bit on the dull side, as is the repeated voice-overs layered on to scenes from previous scenes. The score and soundtrack aren't all that great either, even with the partcipation of Billy Corgan. The whole piece just f... read more

Stigmatas are gross and dumb, but like all unreal things, movies can make them fun! TERRIBLE soundtrack...it was trying to hard to appeal to early 2000 high/middle school students.

Incomprehensible!
Appear to have been inspired by old Iron Maiden videos!
Ludicrous plot and even worse dialogue!
Stigmata is an unusually intelligent and original thriller. Full Review
Unless you are an admirer of splicing, production design and cinematography, there's not much point in seeing the film. Full Review

Tom Lazarus and Rick Ramage should be ashamed to have written such nonsense! Full Review
All the Aramaic in the world can't save it from its own pounding slickness.
The scariest thing about this appalling and seemingly endless movie is that you paid for your ticket and now have to sit through it.
