Get it together, People! Before DREAMGIRLS (2006), there was SPARKLE (1976)! OKAY!!! Where do I begin? ORIGINAL INSPIRATION ON EVERY LEVEL OF CREATIVITY FOR ME!!! The very first musical movie I was taken to at the age of 5!

If you like musical movies you will like this one, but keep in mind that this is another old movie. Sit at home with no distraction and enjoy. My sister and I use to pretend that we were the singers. I know ever song word from word

Melancholy story about abused talent and the ability to live on past tragedy. This one made me want to put on pretty dresses & sing too. Irene Cara was made for the role of Sparkle...just sweet. Philip Michhael Thomas was a cutie..
