On hand to bolster his sense of self-worth are wife Mollie (Joy Gregory) and best friend Zane Levy (Joey Slotnick). Zane has problems of his own: he wrote a hit song but watched another artist take a tarted-up version of it to the top of the charts. As the reunion progresses, he gets to hear it sung by any number of fellow alumni, from Euro-poseur Maria Goldstein (Teri Hatcher) and self-help guru Holly Petuto (Heidi Stillman) to psycho joker Grace Williams (Lara Flynn Boyle) and smug class president Robert S. Levitt (David Schwimmer). As these and other characters reconnect after a decade, they experience a familiar series of liaisons, revelations, and conflicts -- but rarely in a very straightforward manner. Originally filmed for television, Since You've Been Gone was directed by David Schwimmer, whose Friends castmate Lisa Kudrow starred in the similarly conceived Romy and Michele's High School Reunion.     This is a grower, watch it afew times, makes you wonder about your own old school friends and what a reunion would be like haha. Some of the people in this are really really great, such diverse and strangely familiar personalities on show, you can really relate to some and fully ... read moreunderstand others. Unknowns are mostly used in this TV film unless your into US theatre but they all make their mark so well and that includes all the background cast members too!! The surprises of seeing old chums and the jealously, spite, hatred, revenge etc..that erupts when together again is hilarious I tell ya LOL Schwimmer is great as the slimy wannabe loved by everybody creep, then there's the nerds, jocks, weirdo's, annoying newly weds, maniacs etc..its really very amusing.

    Nice small cameo's from some big stars too, especially Molly Ringwald of 80's fame.

    One of the worst movies I have ever seen. I can't find a redeeming scene worth watching when it comes on the tele.

    My sister and I LOVE this movie. It stars an amazing class, and has me fearing my future high school reunion.
