Karesse rarely spoke of Adrian's father, and he knew little about him until he turned twenty-three and decided it was time he got closer to his dad. Karesse met Adrian's father during a period when she was living on a commune, and the child was the product of a relationship that was never meant to be long term. As Adrian follows a sketchy path to Ohio in search of his dad, he stops along the way to ask any number of people (including baseball fans attending a game at Yankee Stadium on Father's Day) about what fatherhood means to them, if one parent can really assume both roles in a child's development, and how this belated reunion could impact both men's lives. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

    A beautiful, personal film that touched me in a very deep way. The search for an absent father is something I can relate to, much to my great sadness.
