A very large shark has been terrorizing the workers trying to install an underwater cable of the coast of Mexico, so a resort security diver, Ben (John Barrowman), takes it upon himself to put a stop ... read more read more...to the killing. However, a tooth he finds is identified by researcher Cat Stone (Jennifer McShane) to be from not a shark, but a prehistoric megalodon, thought to be extinct for 24 million years. With a crew of victims -- er, sailors -- they set out to hunt the beast. But little do they know, the big shark attacking their boat and eating their crewmembers are the babies, and their mother is really, really big -- and angry. ~ Buzz McClain, Rovi

Possibly one of the greatest bad movies ever made! The fact that it takes itself seriously is what makes it so unintentionally hilarious. Worth watching just to see how bad it is. Congrats to David Worth for directing one of the most enjoyable films in recent years.

Like a donkey show. So hideous it's fascinating.

This is brilliant! The best worst film ever made, watch the boring beginning just for the ridicules but fantastic ending where the shark eats everything no matter what size it is! John Barrowman is also the (unlikely) hero who camps it up no end. The best thing is they kept all o... read moref his ad-lib stuff so quite unexpectedly, half way through a romantic conversation you get, 'I?m a little wired... what do you say I take you home and eat your pussy?" Brilliant!

"How about I take you home and eat your pussy?" What a perfectly respectable and normal chat up line. Works an' all. Yes this piece of crap becomes better the more you drink. A repetitive cgi shark with no texture, obvious that people are going down slides when going in the shark... read mores mouth and of course shots repeated over and over. Like Shark Attack 1 and 2 at the same time. So twice as bad but twice as funny.

This should be listed as a comedy. Has to be seen to be believed, never laughed so much at a horror!

Do me a favor. Think of all the shittiest plotted, acted, dialogued, effected, & illogically plotted movies you have watched. Now put all those movies into one, & you'll get "Shark Attack 3: Megalodon". There are almost no words to how laughable this movie is. This is one of thos... read moree movies where it's so bad, it terrible, & hilarious.

To sum it all up, all you have to watch is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nzd0R_OeOc No really, that short clip form the movie is all you need to watch to know how bad this movie is. But if you want to keep reading, be my guest.

Where to begin? The acting in this movie make's the acting from A nightmare on Elm Street (re-image), Twilight & One Missed Call (remake) look like An American Beauty's acting. For real, this movie has probably the worst acting ever next to Dracula 300, & House of the Dead.

The special effects? Wow, just wow, I honestly could go on for hours saying how bad they are. You're just getting enlarged stock clips of a great white shark with very bad editing to make it look gigantic. The effects looked terrible to me even when I was only 13, 14 or 15 years old when I went to get my teeth checked in TJ (Tijuana). No wonder it's also called the "Stock photo movie".

Plot. I have no words to how illogically written it is.

Dialogue, don't get me started. "Oh my god, oh my go! Ohhh mmyyyy Gooooood!" dirty barnacles what is it with crappy movie using that same line over & over again? That was the exact same crap you get when you watch Troll 2. "They're eating her, & then they're going to eat me. Oh my Goooooooooooooooooood!!" D: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egwD4jTo3GE Seriously, watch this movie (Shark Attack 3) with subtitles, because at least the subtitles know how to act.

Final summation, this movie is just the worst special effects, acting, dialogue, & plot put together in one. You can watch House of the Dead rather than this movie & you'd still have the same effect.

Uproariously bad, a serious contender for it's so bad it's good but unfortunately most of the film doesn't focus on the shark and there's long stretches of time where it's just people talking. It seems the cast was well aware of this and that's how the infamous "How about we go ... read moreback to my place and you let me eat your pussy" line was born. I do appreciate this film for making me aware of the pre-historic badass shark Megalodon, I just wish it was introduced in at least a mildly entertaining film.

Good movie. The absolute best film of all Shark Attack's movie. The acting and the effects are truly dreadfull.

Okay, if I was asked my favourite film of all time it would be the Evil Dead Trilogy. I grew up with them so the reason they are my favourite is a personal reason. But if you were to ask me the best film in terms of pure filmmaking and influence on film as a whole it would have... read more to be this one. I really am surprised people even bother making films after this one was made, they can't do anything new. And screenwriters take note, this film has some of the greatest dialogue ever written. One line in particular seems to stand out.
Masterpiece. Genius. Perfection. All those words would be an insult to describe Shark Attack 3's greatness. Truly makes Jaws obsolete.

One of the best bad movies. Special effects are laughably bad and the lines are priceless. Lots of roaring sharks too!

Sure this one may be "so bad it's good" but there's something about the flick's outright plagiarism that prevents me from offering it even a backhand compliment Full Review
