Light and laugh-filled, Send Me No Flowers is typical Rock Hudson and Doris Day fare. George (Hudson) is a hypochondriac married to Judy (Day) in this marital comedy. When George goes to visit the doc... read more read more...tor, he overhears two doctors talking about a diagnosis of a terminally ill patient. George believes they are talking about him and that he is doomed to die. He recruits his friend Arnold (Tony Randall) to find a new husband for Judy. Judy thinks George is covering up for an illicit affair and throws him out of the house. George locates Judy's old college flame Bert (Clint Walker), now a Texas oil millionaire. Excellent performances by Edward Andrews as Dr. Morrissey and Paul Lynde as the aggressive cemetery-plot salesman help this feature along. Although not as solid as the Day/Hudson pairing in Pillow Talk or Lover Come Back, Send Me No Flowers is still a good romantic comedy. ~ Dan Pavlides, Rovi

Poor George, who thinks he's dying, tries to find a suitable husband for his wife after he's passed on. Light and breezy comedy of errors is like a gorgeously shot sitcom full of colorful production design that highlights suburban style of the mid-60s. Coy screenplay by Julius ... read moreJ. Epstein, based on the play by Norman Barasch and Carroll Moore, is surprisingly suggestive at times, in a very naive sort of way. Stars Doris Day and Rock Hudson display great chemistry in their third and last pairing together. The enthusiastic cast also includes Tony Randall, Paul Lynde and Clint Walker. Everyone inhabits their characters so comfortably, it's like they've been playing them on the stage for years. Whimsical music by Frank De Vol boosts this playful farce.

Probably the greatest of the Doris Day-Rock Hudson comedies and when this came out in 1964,this was to be considered the last of great comedies of the 1960's that starred Doris Day and Rock Hudson. Hilarious hijinks ensumes with Tony Randall,Edward Andrews and the great Paul Lynd... read moree. Clint Walker also stars.

This outing with Doris Day and Rock Hudson differs from their other films in that they are already married. This time Rock is a hypochondriac and manages to still get himself into a world of trouble. Of course he even risks losing his marriage in the process, but it wouldn't be... read more nearly as fun if they didn't have to kiss and make up!

Not the best movie that they made together but still is a really good movie that I would watch over and over. Good thing to cuz my mom bought it for me before I had watched. lol

Another hilarious movie with these 3 funny actors. Love the story line and Rock Hudson was so handsome...Tony Randall is a great comedian and Doris Day was the good girl back in the day. Love this trio and got one more to watch...

This trio is a hoot. Tony Randall had a comedic niche which I don't think he was ever recognized for.

Out of all of the comedies that Rock Hudson and Doris Day made together, this is the worst one. It isn't funny and the story is just plain absurd. It has a few moments of chuckles, but they're extremely fleeting.

I just bought this movie the other day, it's a good movie although not quite as good as the other two movies Rock Hudson and Doris Day did together, still well worth watching, it's a great movie.

Another from the team of Rock Hudson, Doris Day and Tony Randall. Don't miss any of their movies, they are all cute romantic comedys and the chemistry between these actors is great!!
