A squad of Alliance soldiers are sent to Sirius B to investigate a distress signal and rescue colonial survivors from the latest generation of robotic assassins. The Hunting is one of those films which perplex me as to why they exist at all; quite why a minor 90s B-movie warrante... read more

This is a fairly good sci-fi movie about a disagreement between some earthlings and machines called 'Screamers'.
I guess I watch too many of this type of movie as I had a pretty good idea of what would happen in the movie about half way through it. The special effects are not ... read more -

As I like to call it...Tremors in space hehe. Decent follow up to the decent original, plenty of really nice gorey effects which actually look nice and not cheesey. The story is good but it does tend to go slightly over the top as you get more into the film, fusion with humans is... read more

And yet another sequel no one asked for.
Some nice squishy moments and a pleasent yet way too brief appearance from Lance Henriksen but there's nothing else going on here in this half-step-up-from-a-Sci-Fi-Original-Movie-of-the-Week movie. -

A big fan of the first movie. So heading into this was not good.Couple of nice touches but falls flat because of its low budget and direct to video status. But there you go a sequel to a 14 year old movie can not be good and it was'nt!!

This movie should have been called Screamers the Huntening because that would be about the right level of cheese. Sci-fi shouldn't just be tech-jargon words strung together by pseudo soldiers with very little common sense or meaning.

Here's an interesting take on the futuristic sci-fi field about a forgotten planet, a scouting group, and some cool, killing machinery called 'Screamers'. Good story plot, a bit rushed but nonetheless quite interesting. Filled with tons of action scenes and much gore. Worth seeing!
