Saw 3 is the the end of the trilogy of Jigsaw, but its just another Saw sequel that doesn't live up to the first. The plot is actually getting cliche and the same with every movie, but I still am that kind of person who completely loves the mysterious endings of the Saw films. ... read more

Without a doubt my favourite Saw movie. The whole point of this movie, which I think some people miss, is to bring the standard "shock" of just how twisted some of the torture scenes are to a personal level. If you have kids, the themes hit you a little harder than any of the oth... read more

August 5, 2011fb729949618Has alot of gore, but left feeling like any Saw movie made after this one would just start to get really boring and typical.

July 30, 2011fb100000257973100One problem I have always had with the SAW series is that this franchise should of just been a trilogy. Nothing more. This film, for numerous reasons, felt like the ending that the series should of had. Nothing more. Now, is this film as good as part II? No. Not at all. But, in s... read more

It was exactly the same as the others with more if not less gore and horror.

The Saw series continues to surprise me. Since they are churned out so quickly and written even faster, you'd expect these films to become more and more pathetic. However they don't, Saw III holds up along with the last two by keeping the same style and formula but furthering the... read more

This film goes really beyond the high level of gore seen in the first two, pleasing the die-hard fans of the series (and gore-fest itself), but proving to be unbearable for the soft-hearted. Not as original though, but still boasting a surprising conclusion.

October 29, 2010fb733768972Saw III begins with an interesting premise, but then jumps all over the place with little death stories, which I then wanted to give up watching. However, when it finally settled down and focussed on an actual plot line, it was very interesting. This is easily the weakest of the ... read more

October 28, 2010fb100000145236770this for me is where the saw movies start to head downwards...an ok plot, and lots of gore, but no where near as good as 1 or 2.

Revising my original review. It's better than I remember it being but in this one we get the death of Jigsaw. You would think the series would have a hard time continuing after that but it's still going strong and finding ways to keep Tobin Bell around as well.
There are a coup... read more

Even splatter-film buffs should be offended by this piece of nonsense: Not because it's so gross, but because it's so dumb. Full Review
Admit it: It's not every horror film that can make you feel preached at and slimed at the same time. Full Review
Tedium eventually sets in again, the movie's murky visual schema and overly aggressive editing style marring any attempts at subtlety. Worse yet, the Jigsaw Killer remains a smug, unscary bore. Full Review
More gore is really all III has to offer. Full Review
Just like its increasingly wan antihero, this blood-soaked series is on its last legs. Full Review
Saw III is nasty, repulsive, disgusting -- and loaded with enough viscera to probably sell at least $30 million worth of tickets this weekend.
The question for moviegoers: Would you rather get your dose of existenz-philosophie from Dostoyevsky or a slasher flick?
Do you want to play a game? How about a really long, convoluted game that leads nowhere? The scariest thing about Saw III is how it seems like it's never going to end. Full Review
Ee'll just entertain you by mentioning such extraneous details as a human skull being opened and probed, a naked woman being frozen to death, a man drowning in the ground-up carcasses of dead pigs ... Full Review
