    The story was bad but it's a really really great laugh... Very funny movie... The morale was pretty good too... To teach us about Love is more important than just sex...

    Korea's answer to American Pie and the like sees clutzy university freshman Eun-shik Jang falling for dream girl Eun-hyo Lee. Sex Is Zero starts off in hilarious fashion, with Eun-shik Jang and his similarly sex-obsessed friends trying to score ... read morewith as many college girls as is humanly possible. Throw in a couple of jokes about manhoods and cosmetic implants and we're talking comedy heaven. Unfortunately, the director, Je-gyun Yun, chooses to veer off into other, more serious, genres in the final reel and this really puts the dampeners on the humour. There's one particularly shocking revelation around the hour mark which is so serious for a comedy that the movie barely recovers. Put it this way, you know in a Hollywood production of this like that the good natured guy is always going to get his girl at the end. Korean productions are far more unpredictable! Acting is excellent from all the main cast and the director brings a funky, lively and very energetic approach to his duties resulting in a highly entertaining mix of comedy, drama and weepie rolled into one. Comedy fans should be satisfied with the opening hour, people looking for a little more substance will lap up the finale.

    This looks a lot like American Pie and Bring It On but I have to say it's on the naughtier side. The skin exposure and sex scenes was too much for me to handle. haha. Typical Korean-style, the movie starts off with oddball hilarity then ends on the sad, bittersweet side.

    Sex Is Zero went from a more grosser than your average gross out teen comedy (Frying up some guys.....) to a truly amazing teen comedy that was just like Whoah!

    prepare to be grossed out by this much more graphic korean kimchee doughcake (that's the closest equivalent i know to american apple pie)

    A Korean mix of American Pie and Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Surprisingly funny, and I don't even like gross-out college kid sex romp movies. It turns somewhat serious toward the end with a botched abortion, but still a fun movie overall.
