After finishing Robots I felt it was entirely reliant on its extremely impressive animation becuase the plot was far to thin and not particularly interesting. But what saved the film for me was the quite funny voice of robin williams who pretty much steals the show. Essentialy Ro... read more

Robots may not be the best that the people at Blue Sky have done, but its still an entertaining romp of a film for kids and adults alike. Sure the comedy is hit or miss, and some of the film has some slow and stupid moments, it still makes up for it with its characters, CG, and i... read more

The animation in this robot adventure is a beauty to behold. There is so much detail, so many breath taking long shots, lovable characters and a lot of gags that work great. Add the usual amount of movie quotes and the somewhat expected plot points and you may not exactly get the... read more

A sweet lovable film with a good heart. It brings us into a world with funny people and amazing animation. Although the story is predictable, I enjoyed Robots.

There is a charming start to this movie that captures you from the off, admittedly, the start is better than the rest of the film, but don't let that put you off, despite it's predictability, Robots is an entertaining animation feature.

Finally, I watched it!
Another goody for the family and youngsters who haven't grown up too fast for thier age, the ones that say "this is for kids".

Critic Reviews
There's no story here. It has a kind of an interesting look. It's sweet and it's just not funny at all. The jokes are very tired. Full Review
Robots is more than a load of spare parts, but there are some sprockets and rivets missing. Full Review
Moves along at an entertaining, if increasingly familiar clip. Full Review
As miraculous as the setting is and the realization of Wedge's vision, the story fails to really engage on any level save the kinetic. Full Review
The innovative look is undercut by the predictable story and a drawn-out, overblown ending. Full Review
Will keep adults amused while the kids focus on Robot City's highway system. Full Review
The visuals have so much intrinsic motion that it's too bad Robots is oppressively rollercoasterish. Full Review
For an animated movie accompanied by its own line of Burger King toys and sugary breakfast cereal, Robots certainly provides a lot of Kafkaesque moments for the kiddies. Full Review
