If your into raunchy humour you'll love Todd (the hangover) Phillips' teen road comedy. A miscast Breckin Meyer leads the group with funny Seann William Scott and Tom Green supporting. It wasn't hilarious but it's dumb funny forgettable fluff. However, there was also a stupid sub... read more

Road Trip is a film that when first released was very funny. However as the years gio by, the film becomes unfunny with every viewing. Having watched it recently, this film has not aged well, and the jokes have become stale. This film has many flaws, one being the bad joke, anot... read more

July 26, 2011fb733768972I feel that I may be overrating this film a bit, but honestly, I haven't laughed this hard in a very long time. The hilarious chemistry between friends, the trip of a lifetime, the unafraid R-Rating, and the crude and sexual scenes are even funny. I love this film, because seeing... read more

Instead of being an average college life movie, this really works and has a lot to offer. The bizarre situations and characters are too easy to love and there's really nothing to complain about. While it might not be overly ambitious, I wouldn't want it to be. It stands as one of... read more
Critic Reviews
The movie is sloppily made, but there's almost a sly charm to the sloppiness, and the unevenness of the filmmaking doesn't detract from the picture's most obvious laughs. Full Review
On the whole it works because its over-the-top humor is supported by the filmmakers' ability to view life with a clear-eyed lack of sentimentality.
It's no masterpiece, you understand, but it doesn't count on the raging hormones of its audience to do all of its work.
As objectionable as its subject matter is, the most objectionable thing is that it's not funny.
Road Trip may not be an ambitious film, but it doesn't lack for imagination, and the nasty edge of its comedy makes it refreshing. Full Review
Road Trip is broadly amusing with a few bright spots. But those can't cover up the major gaps in storytelling, characterization and laughs. Full Review
Road Trip takes a well-traveled highway, but the drivers know exactly what they're doing.
Scott and Green seem to be having the most fun, but the entire cast is energetic and the movie feeds on that enthusiasm.
As the guys continue on their way to Texas, this Road Trip degenerates into a slow-moving game of connect-the-gross-outs.
