A tragic love story with an unexpected ending for me.
I know many find Costner a little cheesy, but I happen to find he has been in some really good films, this one included.
All in all a pretty decent film. -

A stylish, compelling , sexy and exciting thriller. A great story of forbidden love, passion and betrayel. Kevin Costner is teriffic. Anthony Quin is powerful. Tony Scott is a master filmmaker.

Kevin Costner plays a guy with balls instead of playing a guy who plays with balls!

December 27, 2006
Nasty revenge thriller featuring a miscast Costner who is routinely acted off the screen by Anthony Quinn, and garish direction from Tony Scott. Ugly.

Takes a loooooooooooooooooong time to get going, but Madeleine Stowe is hot.
Critic Reviews
Narratively stunted but handsomely directed tale of, well, REVENGE!
Positively one of the worst movies ever made, though Stowe is, as always, luminously lovely.
I'm seeking it for making me sit through this whole thing
