Tina Louise wanted no part of any Gilligan's Island reunion, so her role-perennial starlet Ginger Grant-is filled by Judith Baldwyn. The premise: a huge tidal wave transports the seven castaways back to civilization. While they're thrilled to be back in the real world, none of the seven are able to adjust to life outside the island....least of all Gilligan, who on top of all his other problems must contend with a pair of enemy agents (Vincent Schiavelli and Art LeFleur).     A classic tie-up to the goofy "Gilligan's Island" TV series. It's great seeing them finally being rescued and tossed back into their troublesome lives. It's a lot of fun with an awesome finale.

    based on the tv series (1964-1967) and the became a television movie. i use to watch that show before and it very funny show with character gilligan (bob denver) and skipper (alan hale jr) mading me so laugh. all of the cast from the television series returns except for tina loui... read morese who play ginger replace by judith baldwin. good to take off from the island and wait see what happening at the end.

    As I anticipated, this is incredibly dumb. It has all the stupid humor of the original series, as well as the extremely improbability of just about everything. Still, it is hard to deny that the series has a strange watchability to it.

    A movie that feels like a fun long version of the television show. Sure everyone looks a lot older, especially the Professer, but their still the same old castaways as before. Except for Judith Baldwin who does a good job of making Ginger an airhead, but I never got that impressi... read moreon of Ginger from the show as being a complete space cadet. I would have prefered the original Ginger instead. The acting is very TV movie, but that adds to it's likability. If your a fan of the show then this "hour long tour" will bring a smile to your face and all those nostalgia feelings to.

    Yeah I watched this on TV. They changed Ginger and then they wind up back on the island. What kind of a sadist wrote this?

    A great TV movie of "Gilligan's Island", one of my alltime favorite classic TV shows. The cast, minus Tina Louise are still as great. The castaways finally get off the island and try to reajust to civilization.

    I am a big fan of Gilligan's Island. Didn't mlike the new Ginger at all. It made me want to hate this long awaited rescue from giligan's Island.
