October 6, 2011fb729949618I never saw the show, and I kinda wish I never saw the movie. It was't that great.

Reno 911 is a fairly decent / average comedy. Based on the popular TV show, Reno 911 Miami is a fun, amusing film with a few good laughs. But at times the humour displayed on screen, struggles and falls flat and isn't funny. For what it is, Reno 911 Miami is an average comedy. Th... read more

April 24, 2010fb733768972I was never a fan, and this movie made me even less of a fan! Please let this series die now! This has got to be one of the dumbest movies to ever hit the big screen!

In Miami for a police convention, eight misfits from Reno sheriff's department must protect the entire city when the local police force is quarantined due to a terrorist threat. Other than a bit more blood and sex, and cameos from Danny de Vito and the Rock, this could have been... read more

I think that the Reno cops' sketch humour is better suited to thier TV series than to a feature length film, but this film was pretty cohesive, all things considered. I especially liked the cameos by Paul Rudd and The Rock, as well as the incomprehensible drug plot that seems to ... read more

August 29, 2008fb619846742Really, really funny. Its cleverly put together and well executed, with enough awkward scenerios abounding everywhere to keep you laughing from start to finish.

It's a really fun and silly, and outlandishly hilarious, (but ultimately pointless) movie, but it's a good way to pass 84 minutes of time. Non-diehard fans of the show probably should become bigger fans of the show before seeing this, or just avoid altogether.

These Reno misfits are really losers and sicko I ever watched, but so hilarious. And I'm sick of the leader of Reno because he's a bloody freak.

It will grow on you like a fungus, my friend, and you will laugh more than once.
Broken up into four episodes of the television show, who knows, this might be a masterpiece. Seen at one sitting, it falls well short of that. Not for lack of trying. More for trying a little too hard. Full Review
Running a mere 80 minutes and somehow still feeling heavily padded, this Cops spoof yields a few amusing (if widely spaced) moments but otherwise simply revels in the gratuitous nudity, language and b... Full Review
The actors behind this show are far more talented than this movie suggests -- many of their funniest quirks haven't made the final cut -- and there's no excuse beyond simple quick-buck greed for such ... Full Review
While the characters are funny in Reno 911!: Miami, they really could use a straight man, or at least someone who isn't totally incompetent. There are plenty of Bob Goldthwaits in the cast, but no Ste... Full Review
A formulaic, unfunny farce that will leave you nostalgic for Police Academy. Full Review
The gags vary -- a tattooed-breast mystery kinda sags -- but there are lots of laughs. Full Review
It's a lot easier to pack laughs into a half-hour television show than a full-length feature film, and if you need proof, you'll find 84 minutes of it in Reno 911!: Miami.
If you like the TV show, you'll like the movie. If you like stupid movies you'll like the movie. If you want to have your soul elevated, look elsewhere. Full Review
