this is a good movie. I thought it was supposed to be all comedy...but it has some real good storylines with the funny stuff...

Jennifer Tilly is great as the sort of Fag Hag Mom of several gay men who go through a range of emotions. From one finding he is HIV positive, to one who attacks a gay basher....each will go through their own hell, until everyone is full circle. Enjoyed this movie greatly.
Critic Reviews
This lifestyle comedy deserves credit for trying to blend together gays, lesbians, and heteros (rare sight in the 1990s), but the writing, direction, and execution are below mediocre. Full Review
As brightly written by Castellaneta and enacted by possibly the best ensemble cast ever assembled in gay film, it's a real gem. Full Review
It's a film that deals intelligently and honestly with its subject matter and has the good sense not to pander or wimp out on its ending. Full Review
The film quickly falls apart amid chaotic plotting and stiff acting. Full Review
