Pulse 2:Afterlife is an awful sequel to an awful remake. This sequel is a collection of recycled ideas from the first and it adds nothing new to the plot of the franchise. All it does is make the viewer frustrated with what he's watching. This is a pointless attempt at making mon... read moreey off a poorly made sequel. The film has a poorly constructed storyline with a bad cast of actors. The film relies on its special effects to create the tension, and in this case, they're not that good looking. The film looks cheaply made, its standard direct to DVD fare and the film is plainly awful. I really don't understand the meaning of doing a sequel to an already bad film. The first one was crap, so naturally, the second will be. There's absolutely nothing going on that will interest the viewer, and watching paint dry is more interesting than this piece of garbage. This is a film that has no merits in trying to deliver something scary on screen, because, well it doesn't and it fails in doing so. This film scraps the bottom of the barrel, and is an absolute waste of time, and this is a film that should've never been made. Awful.

It's not even worth writing up. Don't bother. Bamber's earnestness gives it 1 1/2 stars I give it.

Ugh, what a friggin waste of my time. So sad. The first one was ok and somewhat entertaining, the 3rd even was pretty good, but OMG this one was just bad. And honestly I don't know why I keep putting myself through this over and over again. I suppose to find the one movie here an... read mored there that's actually worth it. lol. it wasn't really a sequel, more of a continuation of the first one. no real advancements in stopping it, just some really cool deaths and stuff like that. worth watching if you really liked the first one.

Same ole same ole. Not much of a surprise there. I seen Pulse the Asian version much better than the remake here. But even the remake was better than this

Slow, PG-13 horror movie with some mild scares. Interesting photography because much of the movie appeared to be green-screen even though there didn't appear to be much reason to do that.

While Pulse 2 is a pretty arid, predictable, and consistently goofy horror sequel, I have to give the guys points for trying something different. Full Review
