    If you were to combine Weekend at Bernieā??s, Caddyshack and Scarface into one movie, youā??d have Private Resort. Taken Seriously, it is a terrible movie. The plot has little going for it. The comedy is terrible, being overtly obvious and dumb. The only thing giving it class is Johnny Depp, but itā??s not like heā??s able to save the movie. When you look at it as a B-movie, itā??s amazing. The stupidity is just so interesting to watch and it can be so flat out weird at times that you canā??t help but enjoy it. This politically incorrect, sexist, unoriginal teen comedy is so bad that itā??s good.

    Cheesy 80's sex comedy with horrendous perfs. Lots of bikini bods and partial nudity. Lots of crude slapstick. The segment with Andrew Dice Clay is the least cringe worthy.

    This is an 80's sex comedy about two young horny dudes (Rob Morrow and Johnny Depp) who are on the prowl and trying to make the most out of a weekend in a luxurious Private Resort Hotel. A bit of light-hearted fun that is fairly entertaining, this movie is filled with cheap laugh... read mores, slapstick and crude humor but if you want to chuckle at the young Depp in one of his earliest films, and catch a glimpse of his naked backside, then it's worth a watch.

    There's also a subplot about a jewel thief with the world's ugliest haircut (Hector Elizondo) plotting to romance a scatter-brained dowager to obtain a valuable diamond, as well as an exasperated hotel manager determined to catch our heroes in the midst of inappropriate behavior.

    This movie is very cheesy, but there were some really funny parts. The acting is bad, but if you can get past that, it's actually pretty entertaining.

    I didn't care to watch this entire movie, it was just brainless and full of stupid jokes. But if that's your thing, you'll like this movie better than I did, I'm not saying you'll love it, but you'll like it. Plus, if you're a Depp fan, you can see one of the worst movies he wa... read mores ever in.

    Rob Morrow and Johnny Depp headline this 80's sex romp before their stardom kicked in, and I hope this movie isn't something either of them is proud of. Private Resort was overacted, written by a horny teenager, and only managed to be entertaining because of the male ... read moreleads. Though I wouldn't be proud if I were Morrow or Depp, it doesn't mean they didn't act well, as usual, it just means the movie as a whole was a disaster. The bikini-clad women, butts, and breasts were frequent and annoying, they were the only plot avalible, because they were the only things frequent enough to make events happen.

    The plot was... wait there was no plot. Hector Elizondo's character was tacked on, and everything that Depp and Morrow's characters did were random and awkward.

    The only reason, whatesoever, Private Resort was entertaining was because it was so outlandish and wacky that you couldn't not laugh at it. But, it's not really worth the watch. (Unless you want to explore the roots of two great actors)
