Rosalinda Marie (Demi Lovato) was about to become queen of Costa Luna when chaos swept through the streets, and an agent from the Princess Protection Program whisked her away to safety. After receiving her new identity at PPP headquarters, "Rosie" learns that she will temporarily be living with the family of the agent who just rescued her. At first, young Carter Mason (Selena Gomez) isn't quite sure what to make of her new houseguest. All Carter knows is that "Rosie" is posing as her cousin from Iowa, and that it's going to take a lot of work to help the princess fit in at her local high school. At first the two girls seem to share little in common except for their age, though when "Rosie" nominates Carter for homecoming queen over the vehement objections of popular girls Chelsea and Brooke, the ice begins to thaw. Realizing that "Rosie" is more than just an air-headed princess from an unknown country, Carter begins brainstorming for a means of helping her new pal regain her throne, no matter what the risk. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

My Thoughts: "The movie would have been amazing if I was a thirteen year old maybe. Since I am far from being that age, I found the movie to be predictable and cheesy. I do happen to like the two young ladies and think they will have strong acting careers. I just hope their roles will be more challenging and less um, craptastic. But still a movie you can watch with your teenager that has a good message about being true to yourself and not judging a book by its cover. These Disney movies always have a good message don't they? Good for at least one viewing."

God help Disney in these troubled times, give them movies that don't completely suck.

Even worse than the original CAMP ROCK, despite the same star, since you'd expect her acting to improve. Well, it didn't.

Erm...it's pretty lame for the first two-thirds, but Carter's reconnaissance plan is quite gallant. The filmmakers could've challenged Demi a little more by giving her some accent training.

Quite possibly the dumbest Disney film ever. They just keep getting stupider and stupider. UGH.

It should come with a warning: "Careful, heavy yawning ahead!". A very unoriginal film with mediocre actors and unimpressive results.

I think the only reasons why people would want to watch this movie is because it has Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato in it. I like the relationship between the girls and their parents and would recommend it for the kids/teens out there because it will bring out the princesses in you!!!

Cute but silly. I miss the Disney that used to have marvels like Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King.

A perfectly serviceable pre-teen diversion boasting two brightly talented stars, a digestible amount of adolescent drama, and a few snippets of principled behavior befitting royalty. Full Review
