An interesting movie. Harrison Ford is Rusty Savage, a prosecutor. One of his fellow prosecutors is murdered and Rusty is charged with murder. You have to see the movie to find out who did it.
On second watch, a couple years after the first, I downgraded my rating a bit. T... read more -

I have to start this off by saying I LOVE HARRISON FORD! It's rare that he's in a movie I don't like. With that said, I'm going to go ahead and say I liked this movie too. It had twists, sex, dirty politicians, affairs and amazing acting. I loved the ending.

First of all, I'll like to admit that I wasn't quite able to predict the culprit in this whodunit, which is something that doesn't happen often (almost negligible). Despite of that fact, surprisingly I didn't like the movie much. Actually, I didn't care who it was by the time it ... read more

Attraction. Desire. Deception. Murder. No one is ever completely innocent.

It was a bland script with very little originality or depth. The acting was mediocre, even from Harrison Ford. I feel that with better direction and visual personality, it could have been a better film. It had too many cliches of the genre and didn't come off as suspenseful in th... read more

Let?s start with the title here ? is it a bluff? ? is it a double bluff? Well that of course is what you need to find out. This is a film that starts off on a fairly slow pace and remains pretty slow throughout, however the storyline, somehow keeps your attention. Not a great ... read more

Presumed Innocent starring Harrison Ford, Raul Julia, Bonnie Bedelia, Greta Scacchi, and Brian Dennehy is a very good crime drama. I have read the best selling novel from Scott Torrow over a decade ago and it quickly became one of my favorite reads...the film does it justice.

Reasonably well handled thriller in which Harrison Ford's ludicrously monickered lawyer appears to be guilty of murdering his ex-lover. A decent twist and some nice moral ambiguity. A little cliched, but solid entertainment.

Cool mystery story of Ford, on screen with that haircut, is accused of murdering his ex-mistress.
Critic Reviews
Mr. Ford, who comes alive in the flashbacks recalling his tempestuous affair with Carolyn, spends much of the film with a wary, cautious expression masking all other emotions. He does this with flawle... Full Review
Ford -- breaking again from his Indiana Jones heroics -- is astonishingly fine in a performance of controlled intensity.
An engrossing adult drama that relies on complex characterizations and twisty plotting, and doesn't ask us to accept its central character as a superman.
The adaptation of Turow's novel does a good job of presenting the evidence as needed, and no more than is needed, while allowing time for the characters to establish themselves. Full Review
I mean, honestly. Sabich torching his marriage and career makes perfect sense opposite a full-court-press from the likes of Greta Scacchi. Pakula was no fool. Full Review
As moody mysteries go, the courtroom drama Presumed Innocent is among the moodiest. [Blu-ray] Full Review
No masterpiece, but it has a certain snappiness to it that is entertaining, at least. Full Review
