Pretty Cool Movie, Makes me want to go out and buy a movie theather. I would set it up same way as this film, would be fun. Anyway its a spoof / Comedy Horror Flix. Then man from My Favorite Martin is in this I beleive. Semi Good on the hacking up, Great Make up on Toby. Worth... read more the Rent, Only Serious Collectors would add it to there shelf.

Interesting concept of having a student horror film festival with different physical gimmicks - and a real madman coming on scene and killing off some kids.

I liked the backstory of the murders at the theatre, and how they relate to the main character. The twists were clever, ... read morebut it could've been fine-tuned to greatness with better pacing and more realistic characters. There are plenty of juicy ideas, but they don't execute very well. The movies with the movie are a laugh riot.

A lot of classic 80's atmosphere. Story drags a bit towards the end. Some real nice makeup effects and A GIANT MOSQUITO!

A movie that had a lot of potential but really failed overall. It did have a lot of energy and I think it is because of Tom Villard. Not the best acting job from this cast, but like I said, lots of energy.

I didn't really know what to expect going into this, but Popcorn was an enjoyable 80s genre film. Some things don't make much sense (such as the supernatural happenings with Dee Wallace Stone), but it didn't stop me from having fun.

Great movie! I love the whole horror movie marathon theme. Since I did work at a horor movie marathon before it kind of hit home withme. The main girl in it is real pretty she reminds me of Winona Ryder in beetlejuice I think she plays in Phantom of the Opera with Robert Englund.... read more Very cool movie to rent and watch with friends now out on dvd. An underrated little horror gem. If you think you've seen all the scary movies and need a fix, give this one a try.
