Kane: You're all gonna die in there! All of you! You are gonna die!
"They're back."
Poltergeist is a great film and one of my favorite horror films of all-time. Like all great horror films before and after it, there must be sequels. They have to capitalize on successful stuff ... read more -

Okay there are some scarier part in this movie more than the first one. But I actually laughed at the end. Well it's pretty old movie so nothing advanced was expected at that time. I'm sure there were a lot of people was scared by seeing this.

A horrible sequel which gets 30% for a some great effects but the story is sort of rehash and again they live on haunted ground. Nelson and Williams looked bored and the plot was just silly not scary. A Big disappointment.

The first one was superior of course, but the pale guy who's after Anne is pretty creepy. It's not perfect, yet it's far better than the 3rd film.

Terribly disjointed and dramatically unfulfilling. Full Review
Nothing is as scary as the first flick, but still...this one has some chills.
This sequel, sans Spielberg but obedient to his spirit, simply fails to regenerate the original's gut-grinding fears... Full Review
An outrageously scary sequel.....a true horror classic
Salutes family solidarity in the face of evil forces. Full Review
