srin, Güzin, and their brother Mehmet all live content, preoccupied lives in Istanbul. Upon learning that their elderly mother Nusert has gone missing, all three siblings reluctantly make the trip back to their quaint coastal hometown in hopes of quickly tracking her down before beating a hasty retreat back to the city. A quick trip back to the country turns into a soul stirring journey of self-discovery, however, when Nesrin, Güzin, and Mehmet realize that they are not only strangers in their own hometown, but to one another as well.
