Cool story - slice of life film. Set in the 70's. Written by one of the Farrely Bros, but not directed. Kick ass soundtrack.

very sweet and funny tale of a blue collar kid going to an upper class prep school. george wendt, alec baldwin and richard jenkins roles are just solidly funny stuff

found it entertaining.. shawn did well as stone/bone head ... alec gives real emotion and shows that he still has a range in acting.

The movie that single-handedly saved Alec Baldwin's career. His turn as the smart-assed dad is this movie's only saving grace.

Just a good story. Good acting. Alec Baldwin is really good in this. One of those movies you like watching again.

Has its charm. The headmaster reading the intercepted letter from Drugs is almost worth the price of rental, itself. Nice early 70's soundtrack.
