Seagal's accent will give you nightmares, but the violence was a thing of beauty. The bar scene deserves a monument.

Typical Seagal early-90's movie with veteran actor John Forsythe as the bad guy this time and Gina Gershon and the late Jerry Orbach bringing up the rear in co-starring roles. this one is right up there with his best movies.

Segal proves his worth as one bad mutha you dont wanna mess with...skilled in hand to hand combat...this series is cliched and formula to the T, but still fun and entertaining..just don't think too deeply

Just one of those typical Segal movies where there's a bunch of bad guys that have done something bad so that Steve can go kick some ass and talk about how bad he had it growing up whilst doing the "steven segal pose".Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Pure action. One of the best Seagal action scenes is the one in the pool hall 'anybody seen Bobby Lupo?'

Seagal does the usual, meaning killing 30 plus guys by way of fists, guns, swords, and his ponytail. As usual, he is a cop seeking revenge for his fallen partner. It's a shame that movies aren't made like this anymore.

Critic Reviews
As a courtesy to his many fans, the ponytailed action hero Steven Seagal not only attacks sleaze but also goes out of his way to examine it. Full Review
This is Old Jack City, a place where better actors and directors have taken us frequently in the last year. This particular trip seems unnecessary. Full Review
Out for Justice only real weakness is Seagal himself. Full Review
If you're into this kind of thing, it works. If you're looking for a good crime flick, Scorsese it's not. Full Review
One of Seagal's few decent bonecrunchers thanks to good direction by the underrated John Flynn (The Outfit, Rolling Thunder, Best Seller).
If you cut the beatings, you wouldn't be left with much. Full Review
Ewww! Stinky...
Seagal's usual shoot-'em-up
Entertaining.
